The collection seamlessly merges functionality with aesthetics. Delicate yet powerful lines reflect an inspiration rooted in the harmonious coexistence of beauty and boldness. Dance and ballet hold a special place in the heart of designer and artistic director Kim Jones, whose uncle was a dancer and photographer of Rudolf Noureev, the Soviet dancer renowned for his artistry and stylish looks. Noureev’s legacy inspires the refined garments worn by equally sophisticated models in this campaign.
Set in a dance studio with elegant yet natural color grading, the poses are designed to highlight both the grace of the body and how Dior’s pieces complement this elegance. McLellan’s photography evokes the captivating allure of ballet. The collection reinvents classics like the iconic Bar jacket, adapted into its masculine form and paired with the Oblique suit.
