As the fashion industry relentlessly charges towards the future, creating fleeting trends that are soon replaced, Prisma takes a moment to pause, analyze its surroundings, and thoughtfully reflect on the past to bring it forward with updated interpretations. The new menswear collection from Erevos, a Greek-born brand, draws inspiration from the ancient Greek deity Erebus, as described in Hesiod’s Theogony. Join us on a journey to the origins, unburdened by pretense.

Prisma adheres firmly to its principles, steering clear of fleeting trends and momentary celebrity influences. Its values are deeply rooted in local culture—particularly Greece, which serves as its primary muse—translating these inspirations into a universal language relevant to the present day. Their latest collection, Erevos, which they describe as “an exploration of the human psyche’s deepest recesses,” embodies the ethos of the subsidiary brand of Modus Vivendi Co., with a legacy spanning 30 years.

The journey introduced in this new collection begins with the genesis of darkness, presenting clean, minimalist silhouettes in black and deep grey, symbolizing the void from which all creation emerges. Inspired by Erebus, the deity born from the union of Chaos and Gaia, this collection embodies deep darkness and shadow, representing the unseen and mysterious. Darkness serves as the foundation of this new line, reminding us that even in the absence of light, there is form, structure, and profound beauty.

Next, the collection explores distortion and illusion, with fabrics that shimmer and shift under light, creating a sense of movement and transformation. Darkness begins to take on new forms, as seen in a semi-transparent mesh top paired with tailored shorts, striking a balance between concealment and revelation. The collection features layering and asymmetry, exemplified by a jacket with an oversized collar and angular cuts, leading to our final destination where Erebus’s influence is fully realized.

Here, the darkness intensifies with bold shapes and dramatic contrasts, highlighted by an oversized suit jacket with exaggerated shoulders and flowing lines. The collection also includes oversized tops with minimal designs, light denim and suit jackets, denim trousers and shorts inspired by street style, hoodies, leggings, and cycling shorts. The range is completed with Erevos underwear, swimwear, and accessories, all maintaining a dark, minimalist aesthetic. The collection is now available for purchase, with details on the Prisma website.
