Drawing from the brand’s heritage and his own experiences, De Sarno introduces a collection that merges contrasts: strength with delicacy, and traditional styles with innovative ideas.
The enduring bond between Gucci and London originates from the House’s establishment by Guccio Gucci. His significant stay in London in 1897 was transformative, shaping his perception of luxury and craftsmanship. Working as a bellboy at the Savoy Hotel, Guccio immersed himself in the city’s rich culture, profoundly influencing the brand’s ethos and identity. This connection has only strengthened over time.
From the grandeur of the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall to the intimacy of its Tanks, the venue symbolizes the collection itself—a harmonious blend of contrasting elements. De Sarno’s designs navigate the balance between precision and luxury, seamlessly integrating traditional English character with distinct Italian elegance. Technical gabardine coats, adorned with delicate floral patterns, juxtapose softness with structured sophistication. Gucci’s Cruise 2025 collection blends tomboy chic with feminine allure, intertwining masculine and feminine aesthetics into the brand’s signature style.
