Pablo Erroz X Xiaomi: Part 2
In February 2024, Pablo Erroz unveiled his collection, The Club, at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. This show, which we covered in a previous article, featured notable personalities like The Spanish King, Brisa Fenoy, and María Bas from the duo Nebulossa walking the runway. The event showcased fascinating collaborations in line with the multidisciplinary and cross-cutting identity of the project led by the Mallorcan designer. One of these collaborations, with Xiaomi Spain, has now progressed further. Welcome to The International Connector Club.
The latest chapter in the partnership between Pablo Erroz and Xiaomi Spain, who first teamed up earlier this year, was revealed last Friday at a meticulously organized event held at the prestigious Loop venue in Madrid. We were there, surrounded by several profiles, all friends of Erroz, from the fields of architecture, music, photography, fashion, and communication. Attendees included Alfred García, who debuted on the runway with Erroz in his Non-Seasonal 2023 collection show, model Pino Montesdeoca, actor José Lamuño, illustrator Xoan Viqueira, and photographer Celine van Heel, who is now venturing into music.
But what exactly is The International Connector Club? Pablo Erroz explains: “It’s a meeting place where people, ideas, and disciplines connect and link through synergies. It’s another example of how cross-cutting partnerships can go beyond and connect us through technology, creating value and making a difference.” This statement aligns with the brand’s values, which for over a decade have emphasized the need to join forces in the sector by embracing art and culture from various angles.
At the event hosted by Xiaomi and Erroz, we witnessed one of the major initiatives they have worked on together over the past few months: the first limited edition of t-shirts by the Spanish designer for Xiaomi Spain, created with the new Pad 6S Pro 12.4 and its AI function. Additionally, during the evening, we had the chance to experience the advanced artificial intelligence that the technology company is championing.
